Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this afternoon.
Limited Fog Risk this morning.
DISCUSSION...
Areas of dense fog can be expected early this morning, primarily
from the Chicago suburbs westward.
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon along a weak cold front which will settle across the
area. While no severe weather is expected, the strongest storms
could produce potential brief gusty winds to 45 mph.

DISCUSSION...
A couple of rounds of thunderstorms are possible across the area
Friday morning and late Friday afternoon into Friday evening.
Severe weather is possible, particularly during the afternoon and
evening hours. If storm coverage is extensive in the morning, this
may limit the extent of new storm coverage later in the day.
However, any storms that develop during the later afternoon and
evening hours would pose the greatest severe threat, with damaging
winds, hail and even tornadoes possible.
