Oppressive and dangerous heat and humidity will continue today
with peak afternoon heat indices above 110 degrees.
A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon and evening, primarily north of Interstate 80. Damaging
wind gusts will be the main threat with any storms.
