...A line of showers with very gusty winds will impact portions of
southern Lake, northeastern De Kalb, Kane, southern McHenry, DuPage
and northern Cook Counties through 930 PM CDT...
At 837 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers that has
been producing strong southerly wind gusts to 55 mph. These showers
were located from near Cortland to Hillside. Movement was northeast
at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Elgin, Cicero, Arlington Heights,
Evanston, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Palatine, Skokie, Des Plaines, Oak
Lawn, Berwyn, Mount Prospect, Wheaton, Hoffman Estates, Oak Park,
Downers Grove and Glenview.
