This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size hail.
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon into this
evening. The best chance is expected along and west of a Pontiac
to Joliet to Chicago line. An isolated severe thunderstorm is
possible.

The chance of thunderstorms will increase after midnight tonight,
especially west of a Crystal Lake to Peru line. Some of the storms
tonight could produce strong wind gusts, possibly up to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Saturday night and Sunday night...
Limited Freeze Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A period or two of thunderstorms is expected Thursday and Thursday
evening. If temperatures warm well into the 70s or lower 80s, then
some of the thunderstorms could be strong to severe later Thursday
afternoon into Thursday evening.

Southerly winds could gusts to around 40 mph Thursday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon and this evening.
