Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

It will be very dry, windy, and unseasonably warm today, which
will create conditions very favorable for the ignition and rapid
spread of wildfires.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

While not as windy, it will remain very dry and unseasonably
warm on Thursday, leading to an elevated fire weather risk.

Thunderstorms are likely Saturday into Saturday evening.
Conditions are not expected to be favorable for widespread severe
weather, though an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm or two
cannot be ruled out.
