...Patchy light freezing drizzle may produce a few slick spots
early this morning...
A mix of flurries, very light snow and very light drizzle or
freezing drizzle is expected across parts of northeast Illinois
and northwest Indiana through about sunrise this morning. Only
trace amounts are expected, and significant travel impacts are
not expected. However, elevated objects and untreated surfaces may
see some trace ice accumulations before precipitation moves out of
the region around or shortly after sunrise. Therefore, use caution
on decks and sidewalks if heading out early this morning, and be
alert for possible slippery patches on your morning commute.
