Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow showers today will result in a coating to an inch of
additional snow accumulations and will lead to slippery travel
conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Sunday through Wednesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another period of snow is expected Friday morning and afternoon,
which combined with winds gusting up to 40 mph could result in
reduced visibility and slippery travel.

Accumulating snow is appearing likely Saturday into Saturday
night, primarily near and north of I-80, which would impact
travel with several inches of snow accumulation possible.

Temperatures in the single digits with sub-zero wind chills
appear probable early next week.
