DISCUSSION...
Westerly winds will gust in excess of 30 mph this evening, which
may lead to blowing snow in some areas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Saturday...
Elevated Snow Risk, mainly north of I-80.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk south of I-80 at night.
Sunday through Thursday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Accumulating snow is likely Saturday into Saturday night,
primarily near and north of I-80. Several inches of accumulation
are forecasted, with the highest amounts favored to occur north of
I-88. In addition, the potential exists for freezing rain and some
ice accumulation south of I-80 Saturday evening into the overnight.
Periods of sub-zero wind chills are likely next week.
