Lake effect snow showers are possible into northwest Indiana which
could result in slippery travel.

DISCUSSION:
Snow showers will develop by early Thursday morning and continue
through the afternoon. A coating of snow up to around 1 inch is
possible which could result in slippery travel conditions.
Another period of snow is expected Friday morning and afternoon,
which combined with winds gusting up to 30 mph could result in
reduced visibility and slippery travel.
Looking ahead to Saturday accumulating snow is appearing likely
which would impact travel, favoring areas along and north of
Interstate 80, with a mix of rain and snow possible south of
of Interstate 80.
Temperatures in the single digits with sub-zero wind chills appear
probable early next week.
