DISCUSSION:
Southerly winds will gust to 35 to 40 mph on Friday afternoon and
evening ahead of a cold front, though higher gusts cannot be
ruled out, especially south of I-80. Behind a strong cold front
passing near midnight on Friday night, westerly winds will gust
to 40 to possibly as high as 50 mph. These will persist through
early to mid Saturday morning.
