Dangerous travel conditions are expected Thursday through Friday
night due to a combination of accumulating snow or blowing snow
and temperatures becoming bitterly cold. Icy roads may develop as
temperatures plummet on Thursday behind a powerful Arctic front.
Blizzard conditions are possible Thursday night through Friday
night, especially in open areas. Conditions may become life
threatening for anyone who becomes stranded.
Very strong winds Thursday night into Friday may result in some
tree damage and power outages. Dangerously low wind chills are
expected Thursday night through Sunday.
