DISCUSSION...
Some patchy freezing drizzle is possible through 7 am this morning,
and may result in a minor glaze on elevated surfaces in parts of
far northern Illinois. Thereafter, snow is expected to redevelop
across much of northern IL and persist through the morning,
before tapering off around midday. Additional snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with the highest amounts expected
north of I-88.
