Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk this morning south of I-80.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Excessive Cold Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Steady snow will gradually taper and end for areas south of I-80
through mid to late this morning. Snow covered roadways will lead
to hazardous travel for the morning commute.

Blustery northwest winds may gust up to 35 mph this afternoon.

Wind chills tonight are expected to fall to 5 to 15 below zero,
with the coldest conditions expected across interior portions of
northern Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Saturday Night...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chill values of 5 to 15 below zero are expected through mid-
morning Saturday.
