Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Strong westerly winds will continue to gust to around 50 mph
through about daybreak before gradually tapering throughout the
day today. Wintry precipitation is likely to fall tonight,
especially in areas along and north of the Kankakee River Valley.
Snow accumulations up to 3 inches are possible tonight into Monday
with the highest totals occurring towards northwest Illinois and
the Illinois-Wisconsin state line. A period of freezing drizzle
may also occur late overnight or early Monday morning.
