Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms are possible late this evening into overnight, some
of which may produce small hail.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strengthening weather system will pass over the region Wednesday
bringing windy and wet conditions.

Wind gusts exceeding 40 mph are possible, mainly Wednesday
along and east of I-55, and also overnight Wednesday area wide.

Some thunderstorms are expected in the area Wednesday, with a
chance for organized thunderstorms to move across locations south
of I-80. If this occurs, severe winds will be possible. Locally
heavy rainfall is also expected with storms, which may result in
ponding on some roadways.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the northeast at 50 to 60 mph.
