Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms with torrential downpours and gusty winds
will develop this afternoon especially across northern Illinois.
Flooding of ditches, farm fields, and roadways may occur beneath
the strongest storms. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for
portions of northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana until
Tuesday evening.
