Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 70 mph|.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will continue to move northeastward
along and south of the Interstate 55 corridor into this evening.
Torrential rainfall will occur with these storms along with the
possibility of isolated tornadoes and damaging wind gusts to 70
mph. Flash flooding is also possible. Thunderstorm coverage and
intensity is expected to wane later this evening.
