Isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible this morning, mainly
in north central Illinois.

gusts to 35 to 40 mph possible this afternoon.

DISCUSSION:
Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected to affect the region
from Thursday into the weekend as a slow moving cold front approaches
and moves into the area. A period or two within that may support some
severe thunderstorms. At this time it appears a flooding risk may
be the main hazard potential due to occasional heavy rainfall Thursday
night through Saturday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward the east-southeast at 35 mph.
