Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 65 mph.
Limited Hail Risk...up to ping pong ball size.
Limited Tornado Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to move into the area late this
evening and overnight. Some storms could become severe with
damaging winds up to 65 mph and hail up to the size of ping pong
balls possible. Very heavy rain is also expected with any storms
that develop and may result in localized flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday through Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Additional scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon
mainly south of Interstate 88, with a few strong to severe
storms possible.
Hot and humid conditions will result in heat indices possibly
over 100 degrees Friday afternoon, primarily south of Interstate
80.

Spotters may be needed late this evening and overnight.

Moving toward the east to southeast around 35 mph.
