Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Thursday night...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Friday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk, mainly south of I-80.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Low relative humidity values combined with gusty south winds will
produce elevated fire weather conditions Thursday afternoon.

Thunderstorms are expected to move into the area late Thursday
evening and overnight, some of which could be severe. Very heavy
rain is also possible with these storms and may result in
localized flooding. Additional scattered thunderstorms are
possible Friday afternoon mainly well south of Interstate 80,
with a few strong to severe storms possible.

Hot and humid conditions will result in heat indices possibly
over 100 degrees Friday afternoon, primarily south of Interstate
80.
