INITIALLY IN THE FORM OF LIGHT DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE BEFORE
MIXING WITH OR CHANGING TO WET SNOW OVERNIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL
REMAIN NEAR OR JUST ABOVE FREEZING THIS EVENING AS DRIZZLE
DEVELOPS...WITH ONLY TRACE AMOUNTS OF ICE EXPECTED BEFORE
PRECIPITATION CHANGES TO A WET SNOW OVERNIGHT. SNOW ACCUMULATION
IS EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM AROUND AN INCH NORTH OF INTERSTATE 88
ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS...WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TO THE SOUTH AND
SOUTHEAST. LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE
TAPERING OFF...WITH ADDITIONAL MINOR ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE. TOTAL
ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM LESS THAN A HALF INCH SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80...TO 1 TO 2 INCHES ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
ESPECIALLY CLOSE TO THE WISCONSIN BORDER.

LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT ACCUMULATION OF WET SNOW
OVERNIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MAY MAKE FOR SLIPPERY TRAVEL
CONDITIONS IN SOME AREAS. IN ADDITION...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL
REDUCE VISIBILITY THIS EVENING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHERN
ILLINOIS WEST OF CHICAGO. IF TRAVELING ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT OR
WEDNESDAY...BE AWARE OF VARYING VISIBILITY AND ROAD CONDITIONS.
