ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...SOUTH OF A
STREATOR TO KANKAKEE LINE A MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN MAY
OCCUR TONIGHT.

CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR ICE JAM DEVELOPMENT...ESPECIALLY
ALONG AREAS OF THE KANKAKEE RIVER. ICE JAMS CAN CREATE RAPIDLY
FLUCTUATING RIVER LEVELS WHICH COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A NARROW BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW MAY PRODUCE MINOR ACCUMULATIONS
ACROSS NORTHWEST INDIANA MONDAY AFTERNOON...THEN TRANSITION WEST
TOWARDS NORTHEAST ILLINOIS MONDAY NIGHT.

CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR ICE JAM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH
THE WEEKEND...ESPECIALLY ALONG PORTIONS OF THE KANKAKEE RIVER.
ICE JAMS CAN CREATE RAPIDLY FLUCTUATING RIVER LEVELS WHICH COULD
LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.
