NOON CDT THURSDAY...

AT 1003 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER PORTIONS OF THE WARNING AREA...
WITH A LARGE AREA OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ALSO EXTENDING UPSTREAM
ACROSS IOWA AND MISSOURI. PERIODS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS THE WARNING AREA THROUGH THE NIGHT
AND INTO THURSDAY...WITH THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE ADDITIONAL HEAVY
RAINFALL.

MUCH OF THE WARNING AREA HAS ALREADY RECEIVED BETWEEN 1 AND 3
INCHES OF RAINFALL DURING THE DAY WEDNESDAY...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR
ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES THROUGH THURSDAY.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING TO OCCUR.
