Flood Potential Outlook 05:17:47.1887633

...HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

STRONG LOW PRESSURE WILL SLIDE NORTHEAST FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS
TOWARDS THE LOCAL AREA WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. SOME UNCERTAINTY
REMAINS AS TO THE PRECISE PATH THAT THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL
TAKE...WHICH WILL HAVE A LARGE IMPLICATION ON WHAT PARTS OF THE
AREA WILL RECEIVE THE HIGHEST RAINFALL TOTALS. CONFIDENCE HAS
STEADILY INCREASED IN A HEAVY PRECIPITATION EVENT IN THIS
TIMEFRAME. THE CURRENT RAINFALL POTENTIAL IS FOR 2 TO 4 INCHES OF
RAIN WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR...IT COULD
PROLONG THE CURRENT FLOODING CONDITIONS AND SEND ADDITIONAL AREA
RIVERS AND STREAMS THAT ARE NEAR BANKFULL INTO FLOOD. A FEW OF THE
STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS MAY MOVE SLOWLY OVER THE LOCAL
AREA...LEADING TO ISOLATED RAINFALL TOTALS EXCEEDING 4 INCHES.
THIS COULD FURTHER EXACERBATE FLOODING CONCERNS. FLASH FLOODING
IS ALSO A CONCERN IN ADDITION TO THE RIVER AND STREAM FLOOD
POTENTIAL.
