Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Rain and some embedded thunderstorms are expected. No severe
weather is anticipated, though locally heavy rainfall is possible
especially north of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Rain and embedded thunderstorms are expected to persist across
the area tonight, gradually shifting east of the I-55 corridor and
into northwest Indiana overnight. No severe weather is expected,
though localized rainfall amounts of an inch or more are possible.

Breezy north winds Tuesday and Tuesday night will build waves
on Lake Michigan, making for hazardous swim conditions at area
beaches.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
