...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois,
including the following counties, in north central Illinois, Boone
and De Kalb. In northeast Illinois, Kane and McHenry.

* WHEN...Until 1015 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 839 AM CDT, the public reported flooding in low-lying
areas in portions of the advisory area due to heavy rain
early this morning. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Belvidere, Sycamore, Marengo, Genoa, Kirkland, Kingston and
Garden Prairie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
