THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE:

AN ISOLATED WIND GUST TO 60 MPH.
PENNY TO QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE MOST LIKELY TO BE ALONG OR SOUTH OF A

A NEARLY STATIONARY SURFACE FRONT WILL REMAIN IN PLACE TODAY
SOUTH OF THE KANKAKEE AND THE ILLINOIS RIVERS. THIS FRONTAL
ZONE WILL BECOME THE FOCUS FOR SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT TONIGHT...AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND
SURFACE LOW PRESSURE CENTER TRACK INTO THE AREA. ISOLATED TO
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA
OVERNIGHT...WITH THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR SOME ISOLATED
STRONG STORMS GENERALLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MENDOTA TO
WATSEKA.

LOCALLY DENSE FOG IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE
80...AND PARTICULARLY NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY MORNING.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
