LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL BETWEEN
ROUGHLY MIDNIGHT AND 600 AM CST FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS INCLUDING
ROCKFORD...AND BETWEEN 200 AM AND 800 AM CST FOR NORTHEASTERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA INCLUDING THE CHICAGO METRO AREA. 1
TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED NORTH OF THE I-88 CORRIDOR. 1 TO 2
INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED BETWEEN I-88 AND A PONTIAC TO VALPARAISO
LINE. UP TO AN INCH IS POSSIBLE SOUTH OF THAT LINE. IN ADDITION TO
LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS...BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT INTO
EARLY CHRISTMAS MORNING WITH GUSTS PUSHING 20 TO 25 MPH AT TIMES
LEADING TO BLOWING OF THE SNOW.
