SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES WITH WIND CHILLS AROUND 20 BELOW PERSIST
THROUGH MID MORNING ON TUESDAY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS.
ACCUMULATING SNOW OF MAINLY ONE TO TWO INCHES IS EXPECTED NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 80 ON TUESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY CHRISTMAS MORNING.
AMOUNTS SLIGHTLY OVER TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THE WISCONSIN
STATE BORDER. IN ADDITION...BLOWING SNOW IS POSSIBLE DURING THIS
PERIOD WHICH TOGETHER WITH THE FALLING SNOW MAY RESULT IN
HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS INTO CHRISTMAS MORNING.
