Short Term Weather

.NOW...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA THROUGH EARLY EVENING. A FEW STRONGER STORMS
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM PIPER CITY TO RENSSELAER COULD PRODUCE SMALL HAIL
AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH. OVER THE SOUTH SUBURBS OF CHICAGO AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA...RAINFALL RATES OF AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A
HALF PER HOUR COULD CAUSE FLOODING OF ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

THE BACK EDGE OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING THROUGH
NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS AT 500 PM. RAIN SHOULD END IN
ROCKFORD...ROCHELLE...AND MENDOTA BY 700 PM...AND IN THE CHICAGO
METRO AREA BY ABOUT 930 PM.
