NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH MAY PRODUCE:
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
BRIEF DOWNPOURS.
AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:
FAR SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...GENERALLY ALONG AND
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM PONTIAC ILLINOIS TO VALPARAISO INDIANA
AFTER 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON.
DISCUSSION:
A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DRIFT SOUTHEAST ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA SOUTH OF CHICAGO TODAY. THE
COMBINATION OF DAY TIME HEATING...MOISTURE POOLING AHEAD OF THE
FRONTAL BOUNDARY...AND THE APPROACH OF A MID LEVEL DISTURBANCE
THIS AFTERNOON WILL LIKELY RESULT IN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT GENERALLY SOUTH OF A PONTIAC TO VALPARAISO LINE BY
MID AFTERNOON. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY THEN WEAKEN
AND DISSIPATE WITH SUNSET.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

SOUTH OF A LINE FROM ROCKFORD TO MUNCIE INDIANA LINE.
THERE WILL BE PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE OUTLOOK
AREA SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY...AND AGAIN TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY.
