Short Term Weather

.NOW...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST ACROSS
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA THROUGH EARLY EVENING. THE
STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE GENERALLY SOUTH OF LINE FROM POLO AND
DIXON SOUTHEASTWARD TO TO THE SOUTH SUBURBS OF CHICAGO...WHERE THE
ATMOSPHERE IS MORE UNSTABLE. SOME OF THE STRONGEST STORMS MAY
PRODUCE SMALL HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH...RAINFALL OF AN INCH TO
AN INCH AND A HALF AN HOUR...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

FURTHER NORTH FROM ROCKFORD THROUGH THE NORTH AND CENTRAL PART OF
THE CHICAGO METRO AREA...SHOWERS AND A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER CAN
BE EXPECTED.
