Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 to 3 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 70 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
A line of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and
locally heavy rainfall is expected to track through at least a
portion of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana late tonight.
The greatest potential for damaging winds will be near the
Illinois-Wisconsin stateline.

DISCUSSION...
Additional rounds of thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday
afternoon and overnight, but significant uncertainty in storm
development exists. If storms form, they would be severe with a
threat for flash flooding.
