...FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT 1 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
The Flash Flood Watch will expire for portions of north central and
northeast Illinois, including the following areas, in north central
Illinois, Boone, De Kalb, La Salle, Lee, Ogle and Winnebago. In
northeast Illinois, Central Cook, DuPage, Eastern Will, Grundy,
Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, McHenry, Northern Cook, Northern Will,
Southern Cook and Southern Will.
The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood
Watch will expire at 1 AM CDT early this morning. However, standing
water will persist through the remainder of the night for areas that
experienced flash flooding during the evening.
