Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
with the highest storm coverage expected to be near and north of a
Peru to Aurora to Evanston line. Thunderstorms may produce locally
heavy downpours and gusty winds, but severe weather and flooding
are unlikely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Heat indices will largely be in the mid to upper 90s through
Saturday, but may locally exceed 100 degrees at times. Intermittent
thunderstorm chances are also forecasted through Saturday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
