Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
and evening with the highest storm coverage and a localized
gusty wind threat near and north of a Dixon to Waukegan line.

DISCUSSION...
Peak afternoon heat indices in the 95 to 100 degree range along
with intermittent thunderstorm chances will continue through
Saturday, although cooler conditions are expected near Lake
Michigan Thursday and Friday.
