...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Initial rain late this afternoon likely to
switch to a quick period of heavy/wet snow and poor visibility
that may accumulate 1 to 2 inches before ending in the 7-8pm
time frame. Another round of snow expected after midnight
through late morning Wednesday which may bring another 1 to 3
inches of accumulation. Total accumulations of 2 to 4 inches
expected by noon Wednesday.
