This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to 1 inch in diameter south of US-24
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph south of Interstate 80.
Limited Flooding Risk south of Interstate 80.

DISCUSSION...

After a brief break from the rain Monday morning, chances for showers
and scattered thunderstorms increase this the afternoon and will last
through Tuesday morning. The highest chances for thunderstorms
will be near and south of Interstate 80, where some of the storms could
produce some hail, mostly pea to penny sized, but potentially up
to a quarter south of US Highway 24. Heavy rain could result in localized
flooding in low-lying fields and ditches.

Limited Snow Risk north of Interstate 55.
Wednesday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
