...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting Kane, Lake
IL and McHenry Counties.
Fox River at Dayton affecting La Salle County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.
These forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as
forecast precipitation 24 hours into the future. Changes to the
rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may
cause changes to these river forecasts.

NOTICE...
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in
St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge.
* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Boathouses threatened along the river in
Cary.
At 10.0 feet, Winaki Trail and Onaway Trail are threatened south
of Algonquin.
At 10.5 feet, Low-lying sections of Cornish Park are inundated in
Algonquin.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river may rise above flood stage tomorrow
morning and continue a slow climb through the remainder of
the week to near 10.5 feet by early next week.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
