Abundant low level moisture has allowed fog to develop across a good portion of northeastern IL and into northwestern IN early this morning. The fog may become locally dense at times this morning, resulting in drastically reduced visibilities below a quarter of a mile. Motorists should thus exercise extra caution this morning by reducing speeds and increasing the distance between other vehicles. Visibilities should begin to gradually improve across the area this afternoon.
