There is a chance for a brief light wintry mix this morning, mainly north of an Oregon to Waukegan line which could result in the development of some patchy slick spots on road surfaces. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing by noon. Gusty southerly winds to 35 mph are possible late this morning and early afternoon south of I-80. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Friday Night... Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk late. Saturday... Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk. DISCUSSION: Rain and some embedded thunderstorms are likely Friday and into Friday night.
