DISCUSSION: Several winter weather events may lead to slippery roads each of the next few days and then this weekend. A burst of wet snow may cause travel impacts mainly north of Interstate 80 on Tuesday before the snow changes to rain by late afternoon. One to locally three slushy inches may occur, highest north of Interstate 90. Another fast moving system may bring travel impacts Wednesday night due to light snow and ice accumulation, with the risk for freezing rain mainly south of I-80.
