Areas of fog and localized poor visibility are possible after midnight for portions of east central Illinois and south of the Kankakee River in northwest Indiana. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. DISCUSSION: There is a threat for isolated severe thunderstorms Friday evening and early overnight near and east and southeast of a line from Gridley to Wilmington to Valparaiso. If severe thunderstorms do occur, there would be a threat for localized damaging wind gusts and a tornado. Strong winds from the west gusting up to 45 to 55 mph are forecast in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday through mid day. These winds will blow around unsecured objects and be capable of causing minor tree damage and hazardous travel for high profile vehicles.
