This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will likely develop across
parts of the area from midday into this afternoon. A few of the
strongest storms could produce isolated hail and wind gusts near
50 mph.
More widespread thunderstorms are expected to develop this
afternoon across parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some of these
storms could move southeast into far northern Illinois late this
afternoon or early this evening. A somewhat higher potential for
damaging winds may exist with these storms, especially if they
were to develop into a line or cluster. Portions of northern
Illinois especially along and north of the Interstate 88 corridor
would be most likely to be affected by strong to severe storms.

DISCUSSION:
A warm, humid and unsettled weather pattern will remain in place
across the area into much of next week. Periodic thunderstorms are
expected. The potential for more organized storms exists late
Sunday into Sunday night.
Heat and humidity will be increasing this weekend into next week
with heat indices over 100 degrees possible for some locations
during the afternoons.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
