The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
  Northern Boone County in north central Illinois...
  Northern Lake IL County in northeastern Illinois...
  Northern McHenry County in northeastern Illinois...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 731 PM CDT, doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Heavy rainfall has ended in Boone and McHenry County 
  with light rainfall continuing. Heavier rainfall is currently 
  moving into Lake County where earlier storms produced heavy 
  rainfall.
This advisory replaces the flood advisory previously issued for 
portions of Boone, McHenry, and Lake Counties.
A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for northeastern Boone and 
northwestern McHenry counties where heavier rainfall has occurred.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Waukegan, North Chicago, Gurnee, Round Lake Beach, McHenry, 
  Belvidere, Woodstock, Zion, Grayslake, Round Lake, Antioch, Fox 
  Lake, Harvard, Lake Villa, Poplar Grove, Lindenhurst, Beach Park, 
  Gages Lake, Park City and Round Lake Park.
Additional rainfall of 1 inch is expected over the area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor 
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in 
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
