This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk after midnight for mainly
north central Illinois...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to the size of quarters.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.


DISCUSSION...

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms may move into north
central Illinois late this evening. Severe weather is not expected
with these storms.

Additional thunderstorms may develop east or southeastward from
southern Minnesota and northern Iowa toward morning, which may
have a risk for isolated wind gusts strong enough to down tree
limbs. In addition, heavy downpours could cause localized
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Tuesday.

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are possible each day of the period, but appear
most likely late Sunday and least likely on Saturday. Early next
week the focus shifts to southern portions of the forecast area.
Hot and humid conditions will continue with peak heat indices near
100 to 105 degrees on Friday and Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
