Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to nickel size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 50 to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue into the early
evening, with a higher coverage expected southeast of Interstate
55. One of the stronger cells could produce gusty winds, enough
to break small to medium sized tree limbs, with a secondary threat
of hail. Heavy downpours also could cause localized ponding on
roads.
Additional isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible late
tonight.

Additional thunderstorm chances exist over the weekend into next
week. The potential for more organized storms exists late Sunday
into Sunday night.
Heat and humidity will be increasing this weekend into next week
with heat indices over 100 degrees possible for some locations
during the afternoons.
