Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms may develop across parts of northern IL
tonight, mainly after midnight. Should they occur, the strongest
storms will be capable of producing severe hail. The primary threat
for these looks to generally be along and north of Interstate 80.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk, mainly south.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Showers and thunderstorms are possible across the area Wednesday
afternoon as a cold front shifts southward over the area. While
widespread severe storms are not currently anticipated, the chances
exist for a few strong storms capable of producing hail and gusty
winds. The best chance for this currently looks to be south of
Interstate 80.
