This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Freeze Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A late season storm system will continue to produce some
accumulating wet snow over parts of the area today, with
accumulations primarily on non-paved surfaces. The greatest
potential will be east of I-55 and south of I-80 this afternoon
and early evening. Elsewhere across northern Illinois, scattered
snow showers this afternoon may produce brief minor snow
accumulations.

Sub-freezing temperatures are expected tonight, including in the
Chicago metro.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday...
Significant Freeze Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Sub-freezing temperatures are expected again Wednesday night.
