This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk north-central Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers this afternoon may briefly become strong enough
to produce lightning, primarily south of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Tuesday afternoon and evening...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk east of I-55.
Elevated Snow Risk east of I-55.
Tuesday night and Wednesday night...
Significant Freeze Risk.


DISCUSSION:

A late season storm system may bring accumulating wet snow to the
area late Monday night into Tuesday evening, with accumulations
primarily on non-paved surfaces. The greatest potential will be
east of I-55, especially into northwest Indiana, late Tuesday
afternoon and evening. Sub-freezing temperatures Tuesday night
and again Wednesday night will result in a significant freeze
risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-southeast at 20 mph.
